History: Louis was born on October 4th 1766 by A Roman Catholic Family who emigrated to North America when he was young, along with him came his Brother his sister and his mother. They lived just outside New Orleans and owned two indigo plantations which they named after there family. On this land, after an argument between Louis and his deeply religious brother who said he had seen premonitions of the future, his brother died on the stairs just outside Louis’s door. The Maids who saw it said that he had seemed to be in a trance and he just walked and missed the step.
After the incident Louis was taken by guilt and blamed himself for his brother’s death and though he lacked the courage to take his own life he had entered taverns and whore houses on constant biases hoping that someone will one day take his life. But what he did not expect was that one night the wonderful Lestat de Lioncourt would grace his presence and give him a second choice other then death which Louis took, and therefore Louis became Lestat’s Third fledgling
For nearly a centenary from the year 1791, Louis and Lestat stayed together and though they fought a lot they grew to love one another. Louis disliked drinking human blood and after that first taste he went to living off of rats until one day after Lestat tortured a women by sticking her in his coffin alive, he fled away from the blonde vampire and as he walked through the streets, his thirst getting stronger and his body weakening though he drank a lot of animal blood, he found a house that had been hit by the plague and within was a women and a girl. The Girl was a daughter of a women who was already dead so with the fact no one would be able to care for the girl and with the growing thirst he drank the girls blood planning to kill her until Lestat interrupted him and shamed by his actions and disgusted with himself he once again fled the scene leaving Lestat and the girl behind, not knowing the girl was still alive.
But later when he came home and Lestat changed the girl against his better judgment he had decided to stay by Lestat’s side even though he had been planning to leave the elder vampire. As the year’s passed Louis had taken on the maternal side of the family. This caused Louis to become closer to Claudia, as Lestat named her, and later on when Claudia’s mind matured though her body didn’t and she grew to hate the man who made her what she was he fallowed her into the old world to find other vampires after Claudia tried to kill Lestat.
There he met the vampires of the Theater De Vampires where he fell in love with Armand, the leader of the group and the eldest, and caused Claudia’s and a newborn he made not three day’s prier deaths. The only reason he was not killed for the treachery of trying to kill Lestat was because Lestat and Armand did not wish it and instead he had been locked in a Coffin until Armand got him out. Due to his rage and sorrow at Claudia’s death he burned down the theater and the vampire’s within except Armand who he traveled with for a number of years before leaving him too to become a loner. He told his entire life story to an Interviewer named Daniel and created the book “The Interview with the Vampire” Which became popular mostly after Lestat ran his book “The Vampire Lestat”.
Louis stayed a lone vampire feeding on the humans that came near him, it being known that he is one of the only vampire’s to Whistle while hunting to give Humans a chance to get away, and when he heard of Lestat’s concert he went back to Lestat and there he showed how deeply in love he missed him, he would even give up his life for the other if it meant he would be safe.
And then why Lestat is in his deep sleep David and Louis take up the job of staying with the elder Vampire and watching over him as he slumbers. During that time Louis becomes obsessed with Claudia’s ghost having to know whether the child vampire was at peace or was trapped on this world and that was what brought him to meeting Merrik, a friend of David’s and one of the people David loves the most. And for Louis’ sake David asks Merrik to summon Claudia’s ghost and she accepts.
And it was love at first site for Louis and Merrik, they where both in utter awe of the other and Louis then loved the witch as much as he loved Lestat and his beloved Claudia. But when the Summoning of the young girl takes a turn for the worse and her lie’s causing great grief within Louis’s heart he had gained the one thing he needed in this world to finally end his life. But Merrik could not let him go and in a last ditch effort to make sure he did not die before she saw him again she placed a spell on him so that his mind body and soul craved and desired her. And so when he was left alone with Merrik and she asked to be turned he had tried to scare her away from the wanting by almost draining her but due to the spell he had ended up going to far and the only way to save her was to make her into a vampire.
David already mentioned how before this if Louis turned the girl they both loved so much into one of them that he would burn the black haired Vampire to a crisp. But his head and heart where already filled with guilt for what he had done and after hiding away Merrik and teaching her all he could he placed his coffin out into the open with the lid off and let himself be burned. But he did not become Ashes as he first thought and David having been telling Lestat everything finally awoke just as Merrik and David where trying to find a way to save Louis who had became a coal like substance not knowing if there was a soul in the husk or not. Lestat then gave Louis his powerful blood and with the aid of also Davids and Merrik’s as well was saved.
After that Louis lost all courage to kill himself and also gained the one thing he needed most in this world to want to stay, he found a place. And Louis, Lestat, David, and Merrik all became there own Coven of immortal and powerful vampires. But like always they did stay together. Slowly they broke apart and Louis left to study in Harford to gain a medical degree, after graduating and gaining his doctorate he left to find one of his deepest loves and the man he thought about that most, Lestat. His search soon brought him to Dusk Village where he got a job as a doctor, the explanation for his look’s was that he was sensitive against the sunlight and changes in the temperature. This also allowed him to where sunglasses wherever he went hiding the Rainbow like shine that came into his green eyes after gaining Lestat’s blood.
